#GivingTuesday - a global day of givng.

Give locally and make a difference in your own community!

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now that Thanksgiving is over the holiday season has officially begun, and the season of giving will kick off next Tuesday, November 27, on #GivingTuesday.

Holiday season brings opportunities to celebrate, enjoy each other’s company, feast, reflect, and share. It’s also a good time to ask yourself what YOU want and want to give. Perhaps you want everyone in your community to have access to healthy, nourishing food, have access to what our city has to offer, be able to participate and belong – and that’s what you want to give.

#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in countries around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.

On this global day of giving, you can make a difference in your own community by giving locally.

Your generous contribution to City Fruit on this #GivingTuesday will help sustain our work through 2019, and help us accomplish so much more in the coming year:

  • grow our harvest camp to serve TWICE as many underserved youth students
  • register and harvest from hundreds of new trees, so that we can share fruit with tens of thousands of neighbors in need across this city
  • welcome hundreds more people into our city’s orchards, who will connect to Seattle’s land and food system for the first time.

We hope you will consider giving to City Fruit on this #GivingTuesday. Give locally and make a difference!
