The orchard at the Danny Woo garden has over sixty fruit trees that need harvesting, watering and care. Join us in this unique city garden space to harvest a variety of different fruits including apples, plums and pears. We will also pick up fallen fruit and clear debris from the base of the fruit trees. Fruit picked will be shared with the community gardeners and donated to the neighborhood food bank. The Danny Woo Community Garden exists as a place to unite community members from Seattle’s Chinatown/International District – both elders and children. The garden is an important place where low-income gardeners can socialize, get exercise and raise vegetables that reflect their cultural foods of choice. Sign up below.
