City Fruit is committed to the year-round care of Seattle’s urban orchard. We build community in the off-harvest season with volunteer events and workshops on planting, pruning, mulching, and pest management. These practices ensure access to healthy fruit trees for future generations and–when the harvest rolls around–the highest quality fruit for our communities all across the city.
We compile resources to share stewardship practices with learners of all levels. Whether you’re a novice tree owner, a graduate of our Master Fruit Tree Stewards program, an educator looking for curriculum, or a parent in search of fun activities or youth orchard programs for your children, we offer these resources to help you care for fruit trees and build strong communities.
