DESCRIPTION:Join us for a tree planting event in partnership with the City of Kirkland and Tilth Alliance! We will be planting trees and berry bushes in various locations around the orchard. The park already has some historic fruit trees\, but we are planting additional fruit trees to diversify the varieties for community members to access! We will supply the necessary tools all sanitized and ready to go! At this volunteer event\, you’ll help move soil dropped from the Soil Exchange to the planting location and will help pack the new berm to stabilize the ground.
