SUMMARY:Free beginner top grafting workshop at McAuliffe Park
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fruit tree grafting workshop on Wednesday\, 6/21 from 5-7 pm at McAuliffe Park in Kirkland to learn more about this age old form of plant propagation!  In this workshop\, we’ll discuss what grafting is\, review the differences between top grafting and bench grafting\, and practice splicing and securing techniques for top grafting. If time allows\, we’ll also discuss other techniques such as propagating using plant cuttings and air layering.
