Free beginner winter pruning workshop at McAuliffe Park

Winter pruning is done when the tree is still in dormancy and is a great time to assess your tree’s structure! Dead and diseased wood are prioritized, followed by any larger cuts needed to maintain the shape of your tree. Winter pruning helps invigorate spring growth and is an important part of fruit tree maintenance! Join us for a winter pruning workshop on Friday, 4/7 from 2-4 pm at McAuliffe Park in Kirkland to learn more about beginning pruning basics! We are currently limiting workshop participation to 15 individuals.

This workshop is free to all community members; however we have a $10 reimbursable registration fee which reserves your spot at the workshop and helps us manage workshop attendance for our instructors.
