South King County Harvest

As part of the 2018 Harvest for All expansion, we have partnered with the International Rescue Committee's New Roots Program to take on the South King County harvest. The New Roots program at IRC is an initiative to support nutrition, food security, gardening, enterprise, and production activities for resettled refugees. The IRC will be leading the harvest efforts in Burien, Tukwila, Seatac, Renton, Des Moines and Kent. Through this partnership, City Fruit will take on the registration of trees and the communication with tree owners while the IRC will have full control of the harvest operations and the distribution decision-making.
