City Fruit is hosting a winter pruning demonstration for families at Eckstein Middle School! We'll be working with the trees located at the school's courtyard garden and teaching basic pruning principles.
Winter pruning is done when the tree is still in dormancy and is a great time to assess your tree's structure! Dead and diseased wood are prioritized, followed by any larger cuts needed to maintain the shape of your tree.
