We’re delighted to announce our annual Celebrates gala will be in person this year at The Fremont Foundry on Thursday, September 21st! Join us in ushering in the autumn equinox with an evening of cider-tasting, dinner, desserts, live music, auction, and more!

Last year’s event featured tastings from Alma Cider, Brownrigg Hard Cider, Republic of Cider, Greenwood Cider Co., Finnriver Farm & Cidery, Seattle Cider Co., Pinball Cider, and more!
Our Celebrates gala allows us to gather as a community and celebrate the volunteers, community partners, orchardists, cider makers, and donors who make our work whole. This year, we are proud to celebrate 15 years of serving the Seattle community, and will be highlighting outstanding partnerships that have helped us save local fruit from food waste while meeting pressing needs in our community. It’ll be a night of good drink, good food, fun games, live music, and good company!

Interested in supporting the event by volunteering to be a Table Captain? As a Table Captain, you are one of the most important volunteers at our event! You will be responsible for filling a table of 8 guests (7 guests, plus you)! If you have more than 9 guests, we can seat them at an adjacent table.
Wondering how to invite guests? Sending an email to your friends, family, or co-workers is a great way to reach out! A few tips when inviting guests:
• Share your connection to City Fruit and why you’re passionate about the organization! This will help motivate your friends and family to support you and City Fruit.
• Promote the gala and your role as Table Captain via social media!
• Follow-up with your invitees! People may forget to buy tickets in time.
All Table Captains will receive a free ticket to the gala!
