With the days getting longer and warmer, we’re all anticipating the kinds of fun events and activities that spring and summer bring! One such event is the Spring Washington State Fair in Puyallup, that runs April 14-16 and 21-24!
This year, the City Fruit team was invited to table at the event as part of the Garden Education Center. If you and your loved ones find yourself at the fair, please stop by! Our Fruit Tree Specialist, Julian Garcia, will be running our booth from 2-6:30 pm on April 14th! Come chat with him and view other Garden Education Center tables to learn more about how to care for your backyard fruit trees! Our Grants & Harvest Resources Manager, Jordyn Egbert, new AmeriCorps Vista member, Vera Camille, and Education & Volunteer Programs Manager, Tiare Gill, will be tabling on April 15th from 10-6:30 pm. Come chat with them to learn more about City Fruit’s upcoming special events and volunteer opportunities! Lastly, on April 16 from 10-4:30 pm, our Community Engagement & Education Intern, Spencer Christian, will be wrapping up our time at the fair!
