Do you value fruit in a healthy diet and ecosystem? Do you want to be part of a community working towards food justice? Do you own a fruit tree, live by a public orchard, or support adding fruit trees to our urban canopy? Then please consider supporting City Fruit’s efforts by becoming a Fruitlet today!
Our membership program Fruitlets offers us a consistent community support that we use to engage in new, innovative projects and financially back projects that may be short funding year-to-year. Just like a fruitlet, our membership program shows the promise of what’s to come and represents how care and nurture can lead to great things.

On top of what your membership means for the community, City Fruit’s Fruitlet membership program – open to any community member who signs up for recurring donating of at least $5/month – offers myriad benefits for members! First, you get discounts to local nursery and cidery partners AND discounts on fruit tree care! Then, at each of our 18 scheduled Fruit-for-Alls, up to 10 members can reserve a bag of fresh-picked fruit!
This summer, we’re rolling out two new membership perks:
1. Bakers Club – Members will be contacted whenever we have excess fruit suitable for baking into breads, pies, and more! We’ll share a recipe and then let you know when you can come by our office to get extra fruit.
2. Tool Library – Members can now check out ladders, pickers, harvest bags, pruners, jamming equipment, and more! Instead of buying more “stuff,” just borrow ours and return them to our office when you’re done!
If you’ve ever thought about becoming a member and committing more to City Fruit’s mission of harvesting and stewarding from our urban fruit trees to reduce food waste and food insecurity, then now is a great time to join and support us! If you become a member with a recurring donation of $10 or more before July 5, you can also receive a City Fruit t-shirt to show everyone your support!
